Welcome to your new business tool - your smartphone!

Let's assume you get 100 calls from potential new clients every month. What happens to those expensive calls?
If you are like 25% of the hundreds of businesses I've surveyed, you will let some calls go to your voice message. Lets say 10.
Of the 90 left, you talk to the caller and find out another 20 were just 'bloody tyre kickers' and you just answered their question and hang up. (Guess what - tyre kickers will buy from somebody, sometime - why not you?) There's a way to turn some of them into paying customers. Read on.
Of the 70 left, you decided 20 were too far away, you don't like doing 'that sort of work anyway' or you didn't like their attitude.
Of the 50 left, you gave 30 an approximate price over the phone and made an appointment to attend to an onsite quote for 20 of them.
For brand new prospects, you know you only get 3-4 jobs out of every 10 quotes you do. So the final 50 turn into say 15 paying jobs.
So, out of the 100 calls that probably cost you $12 each (total cost of advertising divided by number of calls), you got 15 paying customers.
How could you double the amount of work
you get out of those 100 calls?
Offer to send EVERY caller, your eBusiness card for future reference.
Huh? I hear you say. "What's an eBusiness card?"
Most of you have received a text message from me like this:
Hi ,
Good to talk just now.
When you go looking for that report I sent you, check your Spam folder (not that it's Spam) it sometimes drops in there.
To be polite I guess I should introduce myself. Tap on the link below - it's a Bio.

Do you remember getting one of these after our initial phone call?
That was an 'eBusiness card'.
Most of you tapped on the link that went straight to my 'About' page on my web site (just to check me out - am I right?).
You were presented with an ugly photo of me and a story about what it feels like to 'boost your local work - without advertising'. You found out I'm a family man and I've got 38 years experience doing what I do.
That 'About' page has become one of the most visited pages on my site. Many folk pass it around, drive traffic to my site and subscribers to my email reports.

You could fix up your 'About' page on your site and make it more 'human'. Don't forget, people love to see a picture of you (or you and your team). They feel safe, after 'checking you out'.
They are more ready to buy you and what you are selling.
If you don't have a web site, jump onto 'Dropbox' (https://www.dropbox.com/) and set yourself up with some online storage to store a Word document all about you, how you will fix their problem and make them feel better.
If you want to send me a draft copy of your Bio, to 'spruce up', I'm happy to do this for you.
Now, upload it to your 'Dropbox' online (in the cloud) storage. You can now access it from any internet connected device. (It could even be a welcome video with some handy hints and tips for comparing quotes)
Download the 'Dropbox' app for your phone and install it.
Now you can go in, find your Bio and 'share it' in your text messages. All this, after you've just finished every call.
Does your phone do what mine does? I can save frequently sent messages as 'Quick Text' and shoot off my eBusiness card in a matter of seconds.
Ask every caller (whether you got to a quote or not) if it's OK for you to send them your eBusiness card for future reference.
You are now memorable to EVERYBODY who calls you. You are a jump ahead of your competition.
