People buy on emotion FIRST.
Picture this…
Sad music playing in the background…
Only to be over shadowed by the sadness and pain …
Helpless mothers waiting patiently by their sick child’s death bed…
Children who haven’t had the luxury of a clean, disease free glass of water for weeks…
All strategically put together in a sequence to manipulate you in to parting with your money…
Sounds quite underhand right?
Well….
Think of it what you will, but all I described was what you’re likely to see in a television advert for a charity…
The specific details may vary slightly depending on what cause the charity supports…
But one thing you can almost always count on is that there will be pain, there will be suffering and it’s all been put together to encourage you to part with your money….
It’s a formula that’s been working since the beginning of time…
And will continue to work for years to come as long us as humans continue to think and behave in the way we do currently…
One message I’m constantly hammering home to The tradies, engineers, electricians and carpenters I work with, is that . . .
people buy, based on emotion and emotion alone …
They buy on the way you can fix their problem
and make them feel better.
And it’s not just buying decisions…
EVERY decision we make is based on emotions…
That’s why if you’re not purposely using emotion in your marketing, advertising, 'About Us' page of your website and your profile page on LinkedIn, you’re missing out on $thousands in business revenue and profits…
The big charities figured this out years ago which is why they’re able to convince people from all walks of life to donate…
Even when the individual has very little to give they’ll often find a way because their emotional triggers have been pulled!
And [fname], don’t make the mistake of thinking that this isn’t something you can do in your business because “your business is different” or your clients are “too sophisticated” for this…
This is SO important, that it is what I do for so many small businesses now.
I craft their LinkedIn Profiles for them,
design and write their ads, and
create their flyers and magnets.
I even write to their customers to make them feel connected to the small business owner
so they don't think of deserting to the competition.
All this to boost phone calls and sales.
You know it's important - but you haven't got time, do you?
Consider me your part time Marketing Department.
Leave it up to me to keep your phone ringing and your customers loyal.
Click here and ask me to call - we could talk about your business, couldn't we.
Cheers,
